Cognitive dissonance
from deepaltruism on 03/20/2019 02:19 AMI think climate and environmental action will take massive, massive culture change and we need to loosen up people's cognitive dissonance and tendency to run in a rat race.
The new society needs to chase ideals and utopia and enlightenment and strong relationship with nature rather than money.
I think a lot of status as well as inertia is involved in the problem and we need massive government as well as individual everyday engagement.
Engage the passions and the brain.
Mass action.
